Pondering With TC
Hello There
I was asked to write a profile about myself, I was excited at first then swiftly remembered, this very task has always been my Achilles heel.
An anti-magnum opus littered with C.V type references like; “a team player who works well under pressure”, multitasker, can type a million wpm, etc you know all that unique arbitrary goodness. So instead here’s a little free verse for your perusal.
Who is TC Hails…
Many know this name, it’s a
acronym with a few tiny bits miss —
to keep some privacy for me and mine.
41, Black woman, mother, Londoner — want
the rest, we’d have to really connect.
The virtual door is open when
the time zone permits. Happy to help
or support where I can or I might even be a fan
within reason, of course. Why not support
others' hard work we’re all in this boat too.
Writing is a calming balm plus —
outward extension of pain, joy, my random
thoughts that can’t be contained, spelling points
